This emergency activity was reviewed by Environmental Staff in the Planning Department and a determination made that the activity is statutorily exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for emergency actions. Attached for your information is the summary of changes that the City Council approved to Council Policy 600-24 and its attached Bylaws Shell on October 28, 2014.
Part of the Council’s approval of the amendments to the Policy & Bylaws Shell was acknowledgement of the amendments that were being made to the Policy only (the first column on the table below), and indication of which amendments were also made in the Bylaws shell with the intent that the corresponding sections in community planning groups’ bylaws would also be amended (the second column).
At the CPC meeting of November 25 I will discuss the process staff anticipates for updating the bylaws of all community planning groups starting in December. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
